Our co-production with Fast Forward and No Knives Better Lives has hit the road again. This tour will take the young cast to every local authority in Scotland, performing to over 100 different schools and will be seen by 25,000 young people.

Balisong

by Jennifer Adam

Balisong is a story about Finlay Richards. A name that everyone at school knows. An average 15-year-old boy who just wants to be seen. But you won’t see Finn. You won’t ever meet him.

Performed by 3 actors from our 18-25s young company the play was written in consultation with young people and aims to entertain as well as educate.

While the show is touring schools there is also a couple of chances for you to see it as part of our 10th birthday celebrations, in a double bill with our 8-18s youth theatre group at the Scottish Storytelling Centre in December. Tickets are on sale now.

Herald Society Awards

We are very excited to say that Balisong is a finalist in the Herald Society Awards. The Partnership award category recognises outstanding examples of collaboration in the public and voluntary sector.
