We launched our first ever Youth Board for the 22/23 academic year. We are very happy to announce that it has been renewed for the 23/24 year.
Made up entirely of Youth Theatre and Young Company members between the ages of 11-25, the Youth Board runs in parallel to our adult board and helps guide the future direction of Strange Town.
The Youth Board meets three times per year (September, January and April).
The Youth Board elect their own Chair and Secretary (as well as any other roles) and had their first meeting on Saturday 10th September 2022 which was a great success.
The Strange Town Youth Board was initially part of the National Youth Arts Advisory Group programme of work,
supported by the National Lottery through Creative Scotland and Strange Town has since decided to continue convening the group following the end of the funding period.
