11-14s: Fridays

The Friday 11-14s is one of our two performance groups for members at the end of primary school and the beginning of secondary school. The group performs both newly-written scripts by some of the best up-and-coming playwrights in Scotland and showcases curated by our own members.

Rehearsal Dates
Term 1 (Jan-Apr) – Friday 10th January – Friday 4th April (Half Term – Friday 14th February)

Term 2 (Apr-Jun) – Friday 25th April – Friday 13th June

Class Times: 3.30-5.30pm (2 hours)

Term Fee: £140 per term

Amy Wilson

Director: Friday 11-14s Performance

Amy is a theatre maker, performer and youth arts facilitator from West Lothian. She graduated with BA(hons) Dance and Drama from Kingston University and Edinburgh College in 2020, during which she completed a placement with Strange Town.

Amy is passionate about working with children and young people and has worked extensively in the youth and participatory theatre sector for the past 9 years.

Amy enjoys using theatre and drama to play, explore, and learn more about the world in which we live and allowing a fun, creative safe space for young people to discover themselves and their voice.

Ellie Duncan

Assistant Director: Friday 11-14s Performance

Ellie is a Scottish theatre-maker, facilitator and performer, who graduated with a First Class BA (Hons) in Drama and Dance with Kingston University and Edinburgh College in 2023.

Ellie has been involved in the industry from a very young age and has experience and training in both Film and Stage. Ellie is fascinated about moments of history and implementing that into her work. In 2023, she wrote and co-directed her own show ‘The Fool’ which was set in the regency era and performed in The Voodoo Rooms.

Ellie enjoys exploring theatre through improvisation and play and strives to create work that activates the voice of young people, whilst having a lot of fun in the process.
