8-11s: Fridays

The Friday 8-11s is our youngest performance-based class. Members of this group perform newly written scripts both as full performances and as showcases, which are specially crafted for performance by 8-11 year olds.

Rehearsal Dates
Friday 9th January – Friday 27th March (Half-term Fri 20th Feb)

Performance Dates:
Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th December at the Scottish Storytelling Centre

Class Times: 2.00-3.30pm (1 hour and a half)

Term Fee: £130 per term

Catherine Ward-Stoddart

Director: Tuesday 14-18s & Friday 8-11s

Catherine is a freelance facilitator and theatre maker from Glasgow. She graduated in 2014 with a BA (Hons) in Contemporary Screen Acting from University of the West of Scotland. Since graduating she has worked extensively across the central belt of Scotland including at the Tron Theatre and Macrobert Arts Centre, as well as working in schools and various outreach projects. Her work focuses on devised theatre, both in her work with young people and through her own performance career with her theatre company Spilt Milk. Catherine is very passionate about her facilitating role and aims to bring out creative potential in all the young people she works with, allowing them to find their own creative voice through making and performing.

Dan Webb

Assistant Director - Friday 8-11s (Performance)

Dan Webb is an Actor who recently graduated with a BA Honours Degree in Dance and Drama from Edinburgh College. He enjoys devising and creating pieces of work that put smiles on the faces of his audience, and is always looking for new avenues to bring happiness to people through Drama.
