AUDITIONS CALL OUT
Following the success of STORM LANTERN by Duncan Kidd, HER by Jennifer Adam and AND… AND… AND… by Isla Cowan, Strange Town Touring Company are seeking three actors for a paid Edinburgh schools tour (Equity minimum) of a new production of BALISONG.
This short play charts the journey of 4 school friends leading up to the last day of term and promotes active citizenship relating to knife crime.
BALISONG is written by Jennifer Adam and will be directed by Strange Town Artistic Director Steve Small for the Strange Town Touring Company.

The casting breakdown is:
2 female-identifying actors – playing age 16-18
1 male-identifying actor – playing age 16-18
Key Dates:
2 week rehearsals in Edinburgh (venue TBC)
Monday 31st August – Friday 4th Sept, 10am – 5pm
Monday 7th – Friday 11th Sept, 10am – 5pm
Saturday 12th Sept 10.30am – 4.30pm
3 week tour of Edinburgh Secondary schools 14th Sept – 2nd Oct
Public performances 25th & 26th Sept – Traverse Theatre
*You must be available for all these dates

- Please also tape yourself performing one of the attached monologues from the play (you can select either monologue regardless of gender)
