This is our improv comedy group. In the style of Whose Line Is It Anyway? and Theatresports, each week the group focuses on different improvisation games and techniques. From Sept 2018 this group will meet at Gilded Balloon venue Rose Theatre where they will perform at the end of each term to an invited audience.

The group perform each term to an invited audience. In the past they have performed at the Monkey Barrel and plan to perform at the Rose Theatre this coming year.
Caroline Mathison: Workshop Leader
Caroline is an actor and theatre practitioner based in Edinburgh.
As an actor she has performed all over Scotland and internationally, with a variety of stage and screen experience. Caroline is also a comedy improviser and a core member of acclaimed improv troupe, To Be Continued, performing and workshopping on a regular basis.
As a theatre practitioner Caroline has worked with people of all ages and abilities, teaching and facilitating for organisations including EIF Creative Learning, Lung Ha Theatre Company, Chickenshed, Joyworks, Improv Academy and North Edinburgh Arts.
Ailis Paterson: Assistant
Ailis is an aspiring writer, director and facilitator. She has recently returned to Edinburgh after studying in Aberdeen where she was awarded an MA (Hons) degree in English and History. She has worked in theatre and venue management for five years with Aberdeen Performing Arts and Summerhall, and has recently moved to join the front of house team at the Royal Lyceum Theatre, Edinburgh. Following on from volunteering with youth theatre projects and script in hand new writing nights in Aberdeen, Ailis has been with Strange Town since March 2016 and as well as working with our youth theatre groups, she leads some of the company’s outreach workshops in schools.
